And they be sought him, that he would not command them to -go away into the abyss.

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus, and delivered them over to chains of darkness, to be kept for judgment;

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the abyss, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be completed: and after this he must be loosed for a little while.

And when the thousand years shall have been completed, Satan shall be loosed from his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations that are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to bring them together to battle: the number of these is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and encompassed the camp of the saints, and the beloved city: and fire came down out of heaven from God, and devoured them.

And these shall go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.

And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are: and they shall be tormented day and night from age to age.

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come, unless the apostasy come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,
