And the man that commits adultery with another man's wife, he that commits adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely die.
Verse Concepts
If a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman and the woman; so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.
Verse Concepts
to keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. Lust not after her beauty in thine heart, neither let her take thee with her eyes. For by means of a whorish woman a man is reduced to a piece of bread, and the woman will hunt the precious soul of the man. read more.
Can a man take fire in his bosom and his clothes not be burned? Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? So is he that goes in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever touches her shall not be innocent. Men do not take a thief lightly, even if he steals to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; and once he is taken, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. But whosoever commits adultery with a woman has a fault in his heart; he that does it corrupts his own soul. A wound and dishonour shall he get, and his reproach shall never be wiped away. For the jealous rage of a man will not spare in the day of vengeance.

There are three things which are hidden from me, yea, four which I know not: The track of the eagle in the air; the track of the serpent upon the rock; the track of the ship in the midst of the sea; and the track of the man in the maid. Such is the track of an adulterous woman; she eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no wickedness.
Then the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery, and when they had set her in the midst, they said unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us that such should be stoned, but what sayest thou?
Let marriage be honourable in all and the bed undefiled; but the fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

And unto the angel of the congregation in Thyatira write; These things, saith the Son of God, who has his eyes like unto a flame of fire and his feet like unto brilliant metal: I have known thy works and charity and service and faith and thy patience and thy works and the last to be more than the first. Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel (who calls herself a prophetess) to teach and to seduce my slaves to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. read more.

And unto the angel of the congregation of the Laodiceans write; Behold, he who saith, Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God: I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot; I would thou wert cold or hot. Because thou sayest, I am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing and knowest not that thou art wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined in the fire, that thou may be made rich; and clothed in white raiment, so that the shame of thy nakedness not be uncovered; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten; be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and call; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame and have sat down with my Father in his throne.

Therefore, I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they may also obtain the saving health which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. This is a faithful word: That if we are dead with him, we shall also live with him; if we suffer, we shall also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us;
My spirit was troubled, I Daniel, in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head astonished me. I came near unto one of those that stood by and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made me know the interpretation of the things. These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise in the earth. read more.
And they shall take the kingdom of the Holy One who is most High and possess the kingdom until the age and until the age of the ages. Then I had the desire to know the truth regarding the fourth beast, which was so different from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and its nails of brass; which devoured and broke in pieces and trod down that which was left with its feet; also regarding the ten horns that were in its head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; and that same horn had eyes and a mouth that spoke very grand things, whose appearance was greater than his fellows. I saw that this horn made war against the saints and overcame them; until such time as the Elder of great age came, and the judgment was given unto the saints of the most High; and the time came, and the saints possessed the kingdom. Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be a fourth king in earth, which shall be greater than all the other kingdoms and shall devour the whole earth and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns signify that of this kingdom ten kings shall arise; and another shall rise after them; and he shall be greater than the first kings, and he shall bring down three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most High and shall break down the saints of the most High and think to move the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the half or dividing of a time. And the Judge shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion to destroy and to cast out unto the end; and that the kingdom and the dominion, and the majesty of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, be given to the holy people of the most High, His kingdom shall be an eternal kingdom, and all the dominions shall serve him and hear him.

Then he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those that exercise authority upon them are called well-doers. But ye shall not be so, but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is prince, as he that doth serve. For who is greater, he that sits at the table or he that serves? Is it not he that sits at the table? But I am among you as he that serves. But ye are those who have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom as my Father has appointed unto me; that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

And when he had taken the book, the four animals and the twenty-four elders fell on their faces before the Lamb, each one of them having harps, and golden vials full of incense, which are the prayers of saints. And they sang a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book and to open its seals, for thou wast slain and hast redeemed us unto God by thy blood, out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation and hast made us unto our God kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth.
And I saw thrones, and those who sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them; and I saw the souls of those that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the word of God and who had not worshipped the beast neither its image neither had received its mark upon their foreheads or in their hands; and they shall live and reign with Christ the thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection; on such the second death has no authority, but they shall be priests of God and of the Christ and shall reign with him a thousand years.
And there shall no longer be any cursed thing; but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in her; and his slaves shall serve him; and they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no lamp neither light of the sun; for the Lord God shall give them light; and they shall reign for ever and ever.
Heart » The lord looking upon the heart
And the LORD replied unto Samuel, Do not look on his countenance or on the height of his stature because I have refused him, for it is not as man sees, for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.
