Again the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory,


Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, "Lord, why is it that you are going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?" Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves me he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and {will take up residence with him}.

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, in order that he may be with you {forever}--




[because I] hear about your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints.

whom, [although you] have not seen, you love; in whom now you believe, [although you] do not see [him], and you rejoice greatly with joy inexpressible and full of glory,




"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

So the disciples went and did just as Jesus directed them,

And Simon answered [and] said, "Master, [although we] worked hard through the whole night, we caught nothing. But at your word I will let down the nets."

"Everyone who comes to me and listens to my words and does them--I will show you what he is like:

Jesus said to them, "Fill the water jars with water." And they filled them to the brim.

So that one, when she heard [it], got up quickly and went to him.


And he said to them, "Throw the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find [some]." So they threw [it], and were no longer able to haul it in from the large number of the fish.


And he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom!"

And they kept on stoning Stephen [as he] was calling out and saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!"
