So it is with you; since you are eager for spiritual gifts, strive to excel in building up the church.
Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, let us use it in our serving; he who teaches, in his teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

Now he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them. And he marveled because of their unbelief. Then he went around the villages teaching.

I think that I am not in the least inferior to these super-apostles. But even if I am unskilled in speech, I am not in knowledge; in every way we have made this plain to you in all things.
