Verily, verily I say unto you, He that receiveth him, whom I shall send, receiveth me: and he that receiveth me, receiveth Him that sent me.

for the instructions, which Thou gavest me, I have given to them: and they have received them, and have known of a truth that I came from Thee, and have believed that thou hast sent me.
and, if ye are willing to receive the truth, This is that Elias who was to come.
but He said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying of yours, but those only who have the gift of continence: for there are some eunuchs, who were born so from their mother's womb; and there be some, who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He that can receive this saying, let him receive it.
He that hath received his testimony, hath set his seal to this, that God is true: for He, whom God hath sent, speaketh the words of God: for God giveth the Spirit to Him not by measure.
yea, He came to his own peculiar right, and even his own people received Him not.
I assure thee, that we speak what we know, and testify what we have seen; though ye receive not our testimony.
I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another should come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, who receive applause from each other, and the glory which is from God only, ye seek not?
