Now is this blessedness upon the circumcised only, or upon the uncircumcised also? for we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness. How then was it accounted to him? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had in uncircumcision: that he might be the father of all that believe though not circumcised, that righteousness may be imputed to them also:read more.
and the father of circumcision to those, who not only are of the circumcision, but also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had in uncircumcision. For the promise made to Abraham, or to his seed, that he should be heir of the world, was not by the law, but by the righteousness of faith: for if they only that are of the law be heirs, faith is made useless, and the promise is become of no effect. Now the law worketh wrath; for where there is no law, there is no transgression. And therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace, that so the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but also to that which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

Now to him that worketh the reward is not reckoned as a favor, but as a debt: but to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him who justifieth the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness. As David also describeth the blessedness of the man to whom: God imputeth righteousness without works, saying, "Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered: blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputeth not sin."

What shall we say then? that the Gentiles, who sought not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is by faith; but Israel, who followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness: why? because they sought it not by faith, but by the works of the law, for they stumbled at that stumbling-stone;

For as many as are of the works of the law, are under the curse; for it is written, Cursed be every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them. And that by the law no one is justified before God is evident; for it is written "The just shall live by faith:" now the law is not of faith, but saith, "The man that doth them, shall live in them."read more.
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, having been made a curse for us: for it is written, "Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:" that the blessing of Abraham might come on the gentiles by Christ Jesus; that we through faith might receive the promise of the Spirit.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth on Him may not perish, but have eternal life. But the scripture hath shut up all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

For Christ is the end of the law, for righteousness to every believer.

And after much debate, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Brethren, ye know that a good while ago, God, who was among us, chose that the Gentiles should hear by my mouth the word of the gospel, and believe. And God who knoweth the heart, bare witness to them, giving them the holy Spirit, as He had done also to us: and made no difference between us and them, having purified their hearts by faith.

or is He the God of the Jews only, and not also of the Gentiles? surely of the Gentiles also: seeing it is one God who will justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision also through faith.

And you that were formerly alienated, and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled in the body of his flesh, through death, to present you holy, and unblameable, and unreproveable in his sight: if so be ye continue grounded and settled in the faith, and be not moved from the gospel, which ye have heard, and which hath been preached throughout the whole creation, of which I Paul am a minister.

for we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold fast our first confidence firm unto the end; inasmuch as it is said,

And we desire that every one of you would shew the same diligence to acquire the full assurance of hope even unto the end: that ye would not be sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience are inheriting the promises.

What is the advantage, my brethren, if any one say that he has faith, and he hath not works, can faith alone save him?

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: through whom also we have admission by faith into this grace in which we stand, and boast in hope of the glory of God.

that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith: and be ye rooted and grounded in love,

who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

by whom we have freedom and access with confidence through faith in Him.

let us draw near with sincerity, in the full assurance of faith, having our hearts cleansed from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

delivering thee from the people and from the Gentiles, to whom I now send thee, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of satan unto God; that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.

Dost thou believe this? She saith unto Him, Yes, Lord, I believe that thou art the Messiah, the Son of God, who was to come into the world.
