Having therefore, brethren, boldness for entrance into the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,

But Jesus said to them, Suffer the children, and forbid them not to come to me; for to such belongeth the kingdom of heaven.

But there was a certain man sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. It was the Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. The sisters therefore sent to him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

And Jesus stopped, and said, Call him. And they call the blind man, saying to him, Be of good courage, rise, he calleth thee. And throwing off his garment, he leaped up, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answering said to him, What dost thou wish me to do for thee? The blind man said to him, My master, to restore my sight. And Jesus said to him, Go; thy faith hath saved thee. And he immediately received his sight, and followed him on the road.

Hence neither was the first covenant ratified without blood.

A bruised reed he will not break, and smoking flax he will not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
