therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than raiment? Look at the birds of the air; they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns: and yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye preferable to them? And why are ye sollicitous about raiment? consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I tell you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothe the grass of the field, which is growing to-day, and to-morrow is cast into the fire, will He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or how shall we be clothed? (things which the heathens are so inquisitive after) for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these shall be superadded unto you. Be not therefore sollicitous about the morrow; for the morrow will require thought for its own affairs: sufficient to each day is its own trouble.
For God hath not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but of vigor, and of love, and of prudence.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, do I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Come unto me therefore all ye who are labouring and oppressed, and I will give you ease. Take but my yoke upon you, and learn of me, (for I am meek and lowly in heart,) and ye shall find refreshment to your souls: for my yoke is easy, and my burthen is light.
And we know that all things co-operate for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose;
For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and removed the wall of partition from between us;
And let the peace of God preside in your hearts, to which ye are also called as united in one body: and be thankful for it.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be death no more, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in all places. The Lord be with you all.
What shall we say then to these things? if God be for us, who can be against us?
Moreover, my brethren, strengthen yourselves in the Lord, and in his mighty power. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil.
No temptation has yet taken you but what is common to man: and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what ye are able to sustain; but will with the temptation also make a way of escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
And the God of peace will soon bruise Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
And which of you by all his thought can add one moment to his life? If then ye cannot do even the lest, why are ye so anxious about the rest?
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's pleasure to give you the kingdom.
And I account the sufferings of this present time not worthy to be set against the glory that shall be revealed to us.
and of the holy Ghost, and teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment; but he that feareth is not perfected in love.

Sell what ye have, and give alms: provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a never-failing treasure in the heavens, where no thief approacheth nor moth corrupteth: for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
