And all that were in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with anger, and arose, and drove him out of the city, and brought him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw him down headlong. But he passed through the midst of them, and went away.
And when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one consent in one place.
And they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and, with one consent, rushed upon him, and drove him out of the city, and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man called Saul.
