Wherefore comfort one another, and edify each other, as indeed ye do.
but exhort one another daily, while it is called to-day; that none of you may be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin:
But ye, beloved, edifying yourselves in your most holy faith, and praying in the holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God,
Let no corrupt word come out of your mouth; but what is good to useful edification, that it may benefit the hearers.
Finally, my brethren, farewel: be reformed, be exhorted, be of one mind, live in peace: and the God of love and peace will be with you.

But ye, my brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should seize you as a thief: ye are all children of the light, and of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep like others, but let us watch and be sober: for they, that sleep, sleep in the night; and drunkards are drunk in the night: but let us, who are of the day, be sober; putting on the breast-plate of faith and love, and for an helmet the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we be awake, or asleep, we may live together with Him.
What is then to be done, my brethren? when ye come together, if any of you hath a psalm, a doctrine, a tongue, a revelation, an interpretation,---let all be done for edification.
So ye also, since ye are so desirous of spiritual gifts, seek to abound in them to the edification of the church.
but holding the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him, who is the head, even Christ:
