The Lord turned and looked at Peter. Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he said to him: Before the cockcrow this day you will deny me three times.
Jesus walked on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. There he saw Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother. They were fishermen.
He took him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him, and said: You are Simon the son of John: you will be called Cephas (meaning: Peter).
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him. He said: Look an Israelite indeed. There is no deceit in him!
Nathanael asked: How do you know me? Jesus answered: I saw you under the fig tree before Philip called you.

Jesus responded: I told you I saw you under the fig tree. Is this why you believe? You will see greater things than these.
Jesus saw him lying there. He knew that he had been sick for a long time. So he asked him: Do you want to get well?
Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved. He said to his mother, Woman, look, your son!
When he saw the large crowds of people, he was moved with compassion for them. He knew they were distressed and scattered like sheep not having a shepherd.
He looked at them and was angry. He was also sad on account of their hard hearts. He said to the man: Stretch out your hand. He stretched it out and his hand was healed.
Jesus lovingly looked at him and said: You lack one thing. Go, sell your possessions and give to the poor. Then you will have treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me.
Looking around Jesus said to his disciples: It is hard for those who have riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
Jesus looked at them: With men it is impossible, but not with God: for all things are possible with God.
He looked around at everyone and said to the man: Stretch out your hand. And he did so and his hand was restored.
He looked at his disciples and said: Blessed are you who are poor for yours is the kingdom of God.
Jesus turned and saw them following. He asked them, What are you after? They asked him: Teacher, where are you staying?
Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming to him. He asked Philip: Where will we buy enough bread to feed them?
Seeing great masses of people, he went up to the mountain. When he was seated his disciples came to him.
You have sorrow now. But I will see you again. Your heart will rejoice and no one can take your joy from you.
Jesus spoke these things and lifted up his eyes to heaven. He said: Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that the son may glorify you.
