He called his twelve disciples. He gave them power to cast out unclean spirits and to heal all kinds of disease and sickness.
The next day he called his disciples to choose from them twelve, whom he named apostles (ambassadors) (messengers):
Jesus called his disciples and said: I feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way.
It was one of those days when there was a great crowd of people. They had nothing to eat so he called his disciples.
He told his disciples: Truly I tell you this poor widow gave more then all the others who gave to the collection box.
He then spoke to both his disciples and the crowd. He said: If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his stake and follow me.
When Jesus went to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and talked to them.
Seeing great masses of people, he went up to the mountain. When he was seated his disciples came to him.
Then he left the crowds and went into the house. His disciples gathered near him. They said: Explain to us the illustration of the weeds in the field.
He did not answer her. His disciples said to him: Send her away; she keeps shouting at us.
In that hour the disciples came to Jesus. They asked: Who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said: Why were we not able to send it out?
He sat on the Mount of Olives. The disciples came to him privately, saying: Tell us when these things will be? What will be the sign of your presence and of the end of the age?
When he came to the disciples, they were sleeping. He said to Peter: Could you not watch with me one hour?
When he finished his prayer he went to the disciples, and found them sleeping because of their sorrow.
After returning to the disciples, he said: Do you sleep now and take your rest? The hour is here and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
When they came to the disciples they saw a great crowd with them and scribes questioning them.
Jesus showed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. He presented himself this way.
This is the third time Jesus was seen by the disciples since he was raised from the dead.
