Dress your brother Aaron and his sons in these clothes and anoint them, ordain them, and set them apart to serve me as priests.
The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him. They may wear them when they are anointed and ordained. For seven days the one of his sons who is priest in his stead shall put them on when he enters the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place. You shall take the ram of ordination and boil its flesh in a holy place.read more.
Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket, at the doorway of the tent of meeting. They shall eat those things used for their atonement and their ordination and consecration. A layman shall not eat them, because they are holy. If any of the flesh of ordination or any of the bread remains until morning it should be burned with fire. It should not be eaten because it is holy. Do to Aaron and to his sons all that I have commanded you. Ordain them for seven days. Offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement each day. Purify the altar when you make atonement for it. Anoint it to consecrate it. Make atonement for the altar and consecrate it for seven days. Then the altar shall be most holy, and whatever touches the altar shall be holy. Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two one year old lambs each day, continuously. Offer one lamb in the morning and offer the other lamb at twilight. Make an offering of eight cups of flour mixed with one quart of virgin olive oil with the first lamb. Offer one quart of wine for a drink offering with the other lamb. You will offer the other lamb at twilight. Offer it with the same grain offering and the same drink offering as in the morning, for a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to Jehovah. It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before Jehovah. That is where I will meet with you to speak to you. I will meet there with the sons of Israel, and it shall be consecrated by my glory. I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar. I will also consecrate Aaron and his sons to minister as priests to me. I will dwell among the sons of Israel and will be their God. They shall know that I am Jehovah their God who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them. I am Jehovah their God!
Sprinkle Aaron and his sons with this oil when you ordain them as my priests.
Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar. He sprinkled it on Aaron and his clothes and on his sons and their clothes. In this way he dedicated Aaron, his clothes, his sons, and their clothes.
These are the names of Aaron's sons, the anointed priests, who were ordained to serve as priests.
Kill it and take some of its blood and put it on the lobes of the right ears of Aaron and his sons, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Sprinkle the rest of the blood all around the altar. Take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his clothes and on his sons and their clothes. He, his sons, and their clothes will then be dedicated to me.
These are the instructions for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the offering for sin, the guilt offering, the ordination offering, and the fellowship offering.
Moses led out the ram for the sacrifice to please Jehovah. After Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head,
High Priest, properly ordained and consecrated to succeed his father, is to perform the ritual of purification. He must dress in priestly garments
The priest who is anointed with oil and wears the chief priest's clothes is chief over his brothers. He must never mourn by leaving his hair uncombed or by tearing his clothes. He must not go near any dead bodies or become unclean, even for his father or mother. He must not leave the holy tent of his God. If he does, he will be dishonoring it, because he is dedicated with the anointing oil of his God. I am Jehovah.
He appointed twelve to be with him and he sent them out to preach. He gave them authority to cast out demons.
The next day he called his disciples to choose from them twelve, whom he named apostles (ambassadors) (messengers):
whom they set before the apostles. After they prayed, they laid their hands on them.
Then bring the Levites into Jehovah's presence, and the Israelites will place their hands on them. Aaron will present the Levites to Jehovah as an offering from the Israelites. Then they will be ready to do Jehovah's work.
Jehovah said to Moses: Take Joshua son of Nun, a capable man, and place your hands on his head. Have him stand in front of Eleazar the priest and the entire congregation, and there before them all proclaim him as your successor. Give him some of your authority, so that the whole congregation of Israel will obey him.read more.
He will depend on Eleazar the priest, who will learn my will by using the Urim and Thummim. In this way Eleazar will direct Joshua and the whole congregation of Israel in all their affairs. Moses did as Jehovah commanded him. He had Joshua stand before Eleazar the priest and the whole congregation. Moses put his hands on Joshua's head and proclaimed him as his successor, just as Jehovah proclaimed.
After they fasted and prayed, they laid their hands on them and sent them away.
When they had ordained elders in every congregation they prayed with fasting. They commended them to God, on whom they believed.
I entrust this command to you, Timothy, my son. It is in accordance with the prophecies that were previously made. They do apply to you, and with them you may fight the good fight.
Do not neglect the spiritual gift in you. It was given to you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the elders.
Do not lay your hands hastily on any man, neither be a partaker of other men's sins: keep yourself pure.
For this reason I remind you to kindle afresh the gift of God that is in you because of the laying on of my hands.
I left you in Crete for this purpose, that you should correct the things that were defective, and appoint elders in every city, as I gave you orders.

We speak the wisdom of God in a secret, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the ages (generations and human entities) for our glory.
Do you not know that they who minister about holy things live off the things of the temple? And they who wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? Even so, has the Lord ordained that they who preach the good news should earn their living from the good news?
By grace (Greek: charis, divine favor, loving-kindness) you have been saved through faith. It is not from you. It is the gift from God! It is not the result of works. So no man should boast. For we are his workmanship created with Christ Jesus for good works. God prepared these works in advance that we should walk in them.
Let every person be subject to superior authorities. For there is no authority except by God. God allows the authorities to serve in their positions. Whoever opposes the authority resists the ordinance of God. Those who resist will receive judgment.

You should go and bear fruit and your fruit should remain. Whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
Because of this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle. What I say is true, not false, and I am a teacher of the nations in the true faith.
Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart for my holy purpose. I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations.

You know that message which began in Galilee and was published throughout all Judea, after the baptism that John preached. God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. God was with him. We are witnesses of all things that he did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. God raised him up the third day and made him visible. However, all the people did not see him. Witnesses who were previously chosen by God saw him. Know that you were redeemed from your futile way of life inherited from your fathers. [The redemption] was not with corruptible things like silver or gold, but with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, even the blood of Christ. Jesus was known before the foundation of the world. He was made known at the end times for your sake.
