In love of the brethren be tenderly affectioned one to another; in honor preferring one another;

All things are lawful; but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful; but not all things edify. Let no man seek his own, but each his neighbor's good .

For none of us liveth to himself, and none dieth to himself.

Now we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, unto edifying.

But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to the weak.

forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye:

that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

doing nothing through faction or through vainglory, but in lowliness of mind each counting other better than himself;

Be of the same mind one toward another. Set not your mind on high things, but condescend to things that are lowly. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man thinketh himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ.

For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. For in that she poured this ointment upon my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, that also which this woman hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
