until the day He was taken up, after He had given orders through the Holy Spirit to the apostles He had chosen.

If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, he should recognize that what I write to you is the Lord’s command.

Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old command that you have had from the beginning. The old command is the message you have heard.

Then Jesus told him, “See that you don’t tell anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses prescribed, as a testimony to them.”

Then He sternly warned him and sent him away at once,

And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus warned them sternly, “Be sure that no one finds out!”

Then He ordered them to tell no one, but the more He would order them, the more they would proclaim it.

As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Don’t tell anyone about the vision until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.”

Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to Him. When he drew near, He asked him,

While He was together with them, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the Father’s promise. “This,” He said, “is what you heard from Me;

so that you can remember the words previously spoken by the holy prophets and the command of our Lord and Savior given through your apostles.

When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick,

And He would strongly warn them not to make Him known.
