When one [of them] comes to visit, he speaks deceitfully; he stores up evil in his heart; he goes out and talks.
A gossip goes around revealing a secret, but the trustworthy keeps a confidence.
The one who reveals secrets is a constant gossip; avoid someone with a big mouth.
All are stubborn rebels spreading slander. [They are] bronze and iron; all of them are corrupt.
The one who conceals hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool.
Then He ordered them to tell no one, but the more He would order them, the more they would proclaim it.
Then the news about Him spread throughout Syria. So they brought to Him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics. And He healed them.
His fame then spread throughout the entire vicinity of Galilee.
So they took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been spread among Jewish people to this day.
He spoke to me: "Son of man, look with your eyes, listen with your ears, and pay attention to everything I am going to show you, for you have been brought here so that I might show [it] to you. Report everything you see to the house of Israel."
And this news spread throughout that whole area.
But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout that whole area.
What I tell you in the dark, speak in the light. What you hear in a whisper, proclaim on the housetops.
But Paul said to them, "They beat us in public without a trial, although we are Roman citizens, and threw us in jail. And now are they going to smuggle us out secretly? Certainly not! On the contrary, let them come themselves and escort us out!"
