Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that runs down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard, that goes down to the skirts of his garments; as the dew of Hermon, that descends upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commands blessing and eternal life.
Two are better than one because they have a better reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falls, for he has not another to help him up. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship does righteousness have with unrighteousness? and what communion does light have with darkness?
For the rest, brethren, that ye may have joy, be perfected, have consolation, be of one mind, having peace; and the God of peace and charity shall be with you.
fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same charity, unanimous, minding the one thing.
And finally, be ye all of one consent, of one affection, loving each other fraternally, merciful, courteous, not rendering evil for evil or curse for curse, but to the contrary, blessing, knowing that ye are called, that ye should possess a blessing by inheritance.
