And a certain man lame from his birth was carried along, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of those who entered the temple;

And at Lystra there sat a certain man who had not the use of his feet, a cripple from his birth, who never had walked.

If we are this day examined in respect to a good deed done to a cripple, by what means he hath been restored, be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead,by him doth this man stand here before you sound.

For from many that had unclean spirits came they out crying with a loud voice; and many that were palsied, and that were lame, were cured.

This man heard Paul speaking; who looking steadily at him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped up and walked.

And if thy hand or thy foot is causing thee to fall, cut it off, and cast it from thee; it is better for thee to enter into life maimed or lame, than having two hands, or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire.

And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she perceived in her body that she was cured of her plague. And Jesus immediately perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, turned round in the crowed, and said, Who touched my garments?

And if thy hand cause thee to fall away, cut it off. It is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having the two hands to go away into hell, into the fire that is unquenchable.

But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind;

and make straight paths for your feet, that the lame may not be turned out of the way, but may rather be healed.
