30 Bible Verses about driving out

And he healed many {who were sick} with various diseases and expelled many demons. And he did not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.

Now [when it] was evening, they brought to him many who were demon-possessed, and he expelled the spirits with a word. And he healed all {those who were sick},

Now [as] they were going away, behold, they brought to him a demon-possessed man [who was] unable to speak. And [after] the demon had been expelled, the one who had been mute spoke, and the crowds were astonished, saying, "{This has never been seen before} in Israel!"

And he was expelling a mute demon. Now it happened that [when] the demon came out, the man who had been mute spoke, and the crowds were astonished.

And he went into all Galilee preaching in their synagogues and expelling demons.

And he said to them, "Go [and] tell that fox, 'Behold, I am expelling demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third [day] I will complete [my work].'

But the Pharisees, [when they] heard [it], said, "This man does not expel demons except by Beelzebul the ruler of demons!" But knowing their thoughts, he said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. And if Satan expels Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?read more.
And if I expel demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons expel [them]? For this [reason] they will be your judges! But if I expel demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you!

And the scribes who had come down from Jerusalem were saying, "He is possessed by Beelzebul!" and "By the ruler of the demons he expels the demons!" And he called them to himself [and] was speaking to them in parables, "How can Satan expel Satan? And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand.read more.
And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he is not able to stand, but is at an end!

But some of them said, "By Beelzebul the ruler of demons he expels demons!" And others, [in order to] test [him], were demanding from him a sign from heaven. But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and {a divided household} falls.read more.
So if Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say [that] I expel demons by Beelzebul. But if I expel demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons expel [them]? For this [reason] they will be your judges! But if I expel demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you!

But the Pharisees were saying, "By the ruler of demons he expels the demons!"

And summoning his twelve disciples, he gave them authority over unclean spirits, so that they could expel [them] and could heal every disease and every sickness.

And summoning the twelve, he gave them power and authority over all the demons and to cure diseases,

Heal those who are sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, expel demons. Freely you have received; freely give.

and to have authority to expel demons.

And they were expelling many demons and anointing many sick [people] with olive oil and healing [them].

And whenever it seizes him, it throws him down and he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and becomes paralyzed. And I told your disciples that they should expel it, and they were not able [to do so].

And John answered [and] said, "Master, we saw someone expelling demons in your name, and we tried to prevent him, because he does not follow in company with us."

But some itinerant Jewish exorcists also attempted to pronounce the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, "I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches!"

On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many miracles in your name?'

Now is the judgment of this world! Now the ruler of this world will be thrown out!

"Speak to the {Israelites} and say to them, 'When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan, you will drive out the inhabitants of the land from your presence, and you will destroy all their idols and all the images of their molten idols, and you will demolish all their high places;

{No indeed}; [just] the men go and serve Yahweh, since this [is what] you [are] seeking." And he drove them out from the presence of Pharaoh.

You [with] your hand drove out the nations, but them you planted. You harmed [the] peoples, but them you let spread out.

He who does violence to a father, he who chases away a mother, [is] a child who causes shame and brings reproach.

Drive out a scoffer and strife will go out; quarrel and abuse will cease.

after the going out of Jeconiah the king, and the queen mother, and the court officials, the leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, and the artisans, and the smiths from Jerusalem,

And Jesus entered the temple [courts] and drove out all those who were selling and buying in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those who were selling doves.
