Wherefore if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.
It is good, not to eat flesh, neither to drink wine, nor to do any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or made weak.
But meat commendeth us not to God; for neither if we eat, are we the better, nor if we eat not, are we the worse.
Whatever is sold in the shambles eat, asking no questions for conscience sake.

we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no God but one.

Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving by them that believe and know the truth.
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
