Therefore if you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in the heavens give good things to them that ask Him?

but the grace of our Lord with faith and the divine love which is in Christ Jesus superabounded. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that every one believing on Him may not perish but have eternal life.

Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the perfect knowledge of Jesus Christ, our Lord. As His divine power having given unto us all things which appertain to life and godliness, through the perfect knowledge of the one having called us to his own glory and virtue:

because as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation through Christ also abounds.

and our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, the one having loved us and given eternal consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good work and word.

But, as has been written, the things which eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and has not entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.

the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance among the saints,

Therefore cast not away your confidence, which has great reward.
