In a similar way, you wives must submit yourselves to your husbands so that, even if some of them refuse to obey the word, they may be won over without a word through your conduct as wives

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up by training and instructing them about the Lord.

Discipline your son while there is still hope but don't set your heart on his destruction.
Train a child in the way appropriate for him, and when he becomes older, he will not turn from it.
Listen to the one who fathered you, and don't despise your mother in her old age.
Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing to the Lord. Fathers, do not make your children resentful. Otherwise, they'll become discouraged.
He must manage his own family well and have children who are submissive and respectful in every way.
But if a widow has children or grandchildren, they must first learn to respect their own family by repaying their parents, for this is pleasing in God's sight.
