Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city, until you are clothed with power from on high."
And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples. And he said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and petition. And with this in view, keep alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,
