Psalm 14:1-3

([Psalm of David]) The fool says in his heart: There is no God (Jehovah) (Psalm 10:4). They are corrupt. They do disgusting things. No one does good things. Jehovah looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there is anyone who acts wisely, if there is anyone who seeks help from God. Everyone has turned away. Together they have become rotten to the core. No one, not even one person, does good things.

Psalm 53:1-3

([Psalm of David]) The fool has said in his heart: There is no God (Jehovah)*. They are corrupt and have done abominable (detestable) iniquity. There are none who do good. (*Possible deliberate scribal change from YHWH to Elohim) God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any who understand and seek God. Every one of them has gone back: they are totally corrupted (filthy). None do good, no, not one.

Job 35:9-10

Because of the multitude of oppressions people cry out. They call for help because of the arm of the mighty. However no one says: 'Where is God my Maker, who gives strength in the night?'

Psalm 10:4-11

In his arrogant attitude he does not search for God. His faulty reasoning concludes: There is no God. He always succeeds at what he does. Your judgments are beyond his understanding. He scoffs at all his opponents. He says to himself: Nothing can shake me. I will never face trouble.read more.
His mouth is full of curses, deception, and oppression. Trouble and wrongdoing are on the tip of his tongue. He waits in ambush in the villages. From his hiding places he kills innocent people. He searches for victims. He lurks in his hiding place like a lion in his den. He hides there to catch oppressed people. He catches oppressed people after he draws them into his net. His victims are crushed. They collapse, and they fall into the power of the wicked. He says in his heart (to himself): God has forgotten. He has hidden his face. He will never see it!

Psalm 36:1-4

([Psalm of David]) Sin speaks to the ungodly deep within his heart. There is no reverence for God before his eyes. He flatters himself and does not hate or even recognize his sin. The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit and he ceased to be wise and do good.read more.
He plans wickedness upon his bed. He walks on a path that is not good. He does not despise evil.

Proverbs 11:9

A godless hypocrite destroys his neighbor with his mouth. The righteous will be delivered through knowledge.

Proverbs 30:8-9

Remove far from me vanity and lies. Give me neither poverty nor riches. Feed me with food necessary for me. If I am full I could deny you and say, Who is Jehovah? Or if I am poor and steal, I could take God's name in vain.

Jeremiah 23:11-12

The prophets and priests are godless. Even in my Temple I have found them doing evil, declares Jehovah. That is why their own way will become like a slippery path in the dark. They will be chased away, and they will fall down in the dark. I will bring disaster on them. It is time for them to be punished, proclaims Jehovah.

Job 8:11-19

Can papyrus grow tall where there is no marsh? Can reeds thrive without water? While still growing and uncut, they wither more quickly than grass. Such is the destiny of all who forget God. The hope of the godless will perish.read more.
What he trusts in is fragile and what he relies on is like a spider's web. He leans on his web, but it gives way! He clings to it, but it does not hold. He is like a well-watered plant in the sunshine, spreading its shoots over the garden. It entwines its roots around a pile of rocks and looks for a place among the stones. When it is torn from its spot, that place disowns it and says: 'I never saw you.' Its life withers away and other plants grow from the soil.

Job 34:29-30

If God decided to do nothing at all, no one could criticize him. If he hid his face (refused to assist), we would be helpless. There would be nothing that nations could do to keep godless oppressors from ruling them.

Psalm 9:17-20

The grave is the destiny of all the wicked, of all those who reject God. Needy people will not always be forgotten. Nor will the hope of meek people be lost forever. Arise, O Jehovah. Do not let mortals gain any power. Let the nations be judged in your presence.read more.

Job 13:15-16

Psalm 50:16-22

But God says to the wicked: How dare you quote my decrees and mouth my covenant! You hate discipline. You cast (throw) my words behind you. When you see a thief, you make friends with him. You keep company with people who commit adultery.read more.

Isaiah 10:6

I send him against a godless nation. I commission him against the people of my fury to capture booty and to seize plunder, and to trample them down like mud (clay) in the streets.

Isaiah 33:13-14

You who are far away hear what I have done. You who are near will acknowledge (comprehend) (recognize) my power! The sinners in Zion are terrified. The godless tremble. Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with long lasting fire?
