This is my purpose (plan) (advise) for the world, and my arm (extended power) is stretched out to punish the nations.

There is nothing left but to crouch among prisoners and to fall with those who are killed. Even after all this, his anger will not disappear. His hand is stretched out (he is still ready to use his power).
Their houses, their fields and their wives will be turned over to others. I will stretch out my hand (extend my power) against the inhabitants of the land, declares Jehovah.
You left me, declares Jehovah. You turned your back on me. So I will stretch out my hand against you (use my power against you) and destroy you. I am tired of showing compassion to you.
