Some man giveth out his goods, and is richer; but the niggard, having enough, will depart from nothing, and yet is ever in poverty.

Whereas many riches are, there are many also that spend them away. And what pleasure more hath he that possesseth them, saving that he may look upon them with his eyes?

Where no oxen are, there the crib is empty; but where the oxen labour there is much fruit.

And the man waxed mighty, and went forth and grew till he was exceeding great,

For it was but little that thou hadst before I came, and now it is increased into a multitude, and the LORD hath blessed thee for my sake. But now when shall I make provision for mine own house also?"
