Now she that is really a widow, and left alone, has set her hope on God, and continues in supplications and prayers, night and day.

yet, because this widow occasions me trouble, I will avenge her, lest, by her persistent coming, she wear me out.'" And the Lord said, "Hear what the judge of unrighteousness says. And will not God avenge His elect, who are crying to Him day and night, and He is long suffering over them? I say to you, that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, will the Son of Man, when He cometh, find the faith on the earth?"
with all prayer and supplication praying at every opportunity in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;
For God is my witness, Whom I serve in my spirit in the Gospel of His Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you always in my prayers, making request, if by any means now at length, I may be prospered by the will of God to come to you.
