Therefore we conclude, that a man is justified by faith, without the works of the law:
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
for the righteousness of God is therein revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
Where then is boasting? it is excluded: by what law? of works? no: but by the law of faith.
for if Abraham were justified by works, he hath something to boast of; but this he hath not before God:

knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
So that the law was our guide to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace, because of the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
And therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace, that so the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but also to that which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift: for if through the offence of one many died, much more hath the grace of God, and the gift bestowed by the grace of one man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. For the gift is not as the sentence was by one that sinned; for the sentence is passed from one offence to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences to justification. For if, by the offence of one, death reigned through one, much more they who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness, shall reign in life through one, even Jesus Christ.
I do not frustate the grace of God: for if righteousness be by the law, then Christ died in vain.
