and said to those who were selling doves. "Take these things away! Make not my Father's house a house of trade!

He argued in the synagogues with the Jews and the devout proselytes, and also daily in the market-place with those that met him there.
There he found in the temple those who were selling cattle and sheep and doves, and the money-changers sitting there.
"Beware of the Scribes who like to walk about in long robes, and dote on salutations in the marketplaces, and on securing the front seats in the synagogues and the best places at banquets;
Indeed, brothers, the time that remains to us has been shortened; so let those who have wives live as if they had none,
He told a parable to the guests when he noticed how they began choosing the best seats. He said to them.
