But Martha was cumbered about in much serving and came to him and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Bid her therefore that she help me.
And this I speak for your own profit, not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is honourable and that ye may attend upon the Lord without impediment.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction shall come upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
above all, taking the shield of faith, with which ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

There is a difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit; but she that is married cares for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
Ye did run well; who hindered you that ye should not trust in the truth?
Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity, and cause me to live in thy way.
No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.
Enter ye in at the narrow gate, for the way that leads to destruction is wide and spacious, and those who follow it are many;
And when ye offer the blind animal for sacrifice, is it not evil? Likewise when ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy prince; will he be pleased with thee or accept thy person? said the LORD of the hosts.
There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
But I would have you without worry. He that is unmarried cares for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord;
Counsel these things, charging them before the Lord. Strive not in words that profit nothing, but rather subvert the hearers.
but he that is married cares for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
Now concerning the things of which ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
