If a man should entice a virgin that is not betrothed and lie with her, he shall surely endow her and take her to be his wife.
Keep yourselves, therefore, that your heart not be deceived and ye turn aside and serve other gods and worship them;

And it came to pass on the seventh day that they said unto Samson's wife, Entice thy husband that he may declare unto us this enigma lest we burn thee and thy father's house with fire. Have ye called us here to impoverish us?
And the cardinals of the Philistines came up unto her and said unto her, Entice him and see what gives him his great strength and by what means we may overcome him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and each one of us will give thee eleven hundred pieces of silver.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Those on the rock are those that when they hear, receive the word with joy, but these have no root, who for a while believe and in time of temptation fall away.

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
