Then saith he to his disciples, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two by two into every place, whither he himself intended to come. And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground, And should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up he knoweth not how. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle and reap; for the time to reap is come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
