Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and died. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that any one may eat of it, and not die. I am the bread that lives, which came down from heaven. If any one eat of this bread, he shall live forever. And the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying: I am the light of the world; he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
and I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Paraclete, that he may dwell with you forever;
But when the Paraclete has come, whom I will send to you from my Father, the Spirit of the truth, which proceeds from the Father, he will testify of me;
But yet I tell you the truth: it is profitable for you that I go away. For if I go not away, the Paraclete will not come to you. But if I go away, I will send him to you.
The Spirit breathes where he pleases, and you hear his voice, but you know not whence he comes, and whither he goes; so is every one that is begotten of the Spirit.
Let us rejoice and be glad, and give glory to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.
And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven, from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come; and let him that hears, say, Come; and let him that is thirsty, come; -and let him that is willing, take the water of life freely.
