For it is through union with him that we live and move and exist, as some of your poets have said, " 'For we are also his offspring.'
But, as it is, their aspirations are for a better, a heavenly country! That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city to receive them.
But when you are invited anywhere, go and take the poorest place, so that when your host comes in, he will say to you, 'My friend, come to a better place.' So you will be shown consideration before all the other guests.

But when they persecute you in one town, make your escape to another, for I tell you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man arrives.
Whatever town or village you come to, inquire for some suitable person, and stay with him till you leave the place.
Stay at the same house, eating and drinking what they offer you, for the workman deserves his pay. Do not change from one house to another.
There are many rooms in my Father's house; if there were not, I would have told you, for I am going away to make ready a place for you.
