Luke 10:38-42

Now as they were journeying on, He came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed Him to her house. She had a sister named Mary who took her seat at the Lord's feet, and remained listening to His message. But Martha was getting worried about having to wait on them so much, so she came up suddenly and said, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to do all the housework alone? Then tell her to take hold and help me."read more.
The Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and vexed about many things. But there is actual need of few things, really of only one thing. For Mary has chosen the good portion which must not be taken away from her."

Luke 14:1

One Sabbath, when He went to take a meal at the house of a Pharisee who was a member of the council, they continued to watch Him closely.

Mark 5:18-20

And as He was getting into the boat, the once insane man kept begging Him to let him go with Him. However, He did not let him, but said to him, "Go home to your folks, and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and has taken pity on you." And so he went away and began to tell everybody in the Ten Cities how much Jesus had done for him; and everybody was dumbfounded.

Luke 8:38-39

The man out of whom the demons had gone begged Him to let him go with Him, but Jesus sent him away and said, "Go back to your home, and continue to tell what great things God has done for you." But he went off and told all over the town what great things Jesus had done for him.

Matthew 10:11-14

Into whatever town or village you go, inquire for some deserving person, and stay at his house until you leave the place. As you go into his house, wish it well, and if the house should prove deserving, may your good wish for peace upon it come true, but if not, may your good wish bring peace to yourselves.read more.

Mark 6:10-11

And He continued to say to them, "Whenever you put up at a house, stay there until you leave that place. And if any place refuses to welcome you or to listen to you, when you leave there shake off the very dust from the soles of your feet as a warning to them."

Luke 9:4-5

Into whatever house you go, stay there and continue to go out from it as headquarters. And when you leave that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a protest against all the people who do not welcome you."

Luke 10:5-7

Whenever you go to a house for headquarters, first say, 'Peace to this household.' And if anyone there loves peace, your peace will come upon him; but if not, it will come back to you. Stay on at the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the workman deserves his support. Do not keep moving about from house to house.

Mark 10:29-30

Jesus said, "I solemnly say to you, there is no one who has given up home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farm for me and for the good news, who will not receive now in this life a hundred times as much in houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, but along with them persecution, and in the world to come eternal life.

Luke 18:29-30

So He said to them, "I solemnly say to you, there is no one who has given up home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the kingdom of God, who will not receive in return many times more in this world, and in the next eternal life."

1 Corinthians 4:11

Hebrews 11:8-10

By faith Abraham, on being called, obeyed in starting off for a country which he was to receive as his own, and he did it in spite of the fact that he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his temporary home in the land that God had promised him, although a land inhabited by others, living merely in tents with Isaac and Jacob, who were to share the promise with him. For he was confidently looking forward to that city with the solid foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

2 Corinthians 5:1-10

For I know that if this earthly tent in which I live is taken down, I have a building in heaven which comes from God, a house not built by human hands but eternal. For in this one I am sighing, because I long to put on, like a robe, my heavenly body, my future home, and if I do put it on, I shall not find myself to be disembodied.read more.
For I who am still in my tent am sighing beneath my burdens, because I do not want it to be put off but to put on the other over it, so that my dying body may be absorbed in life. Now it is God Himself who has put the finishing touches on me for this change, because He has given me the Spirit as the first installment of future bliss. So I am always cheerful and confident, although I know that as long as I am at home in the body I am away from home and the Lord (for here I live by what I believe and not by what I see), and yet I am cheerful and confident, but really I prefer to be away from home in the body and to be at home with the Lord. So whether I am at home or away from home, it is my constant ambition to please Him. For we must all appear before the judgment-bar of Christ, that each may get his pay for what he has done, whether it be good or bad.
