And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceedingly loud; so that all the people that were in the camp trembled.

And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they moved, and stood far off.

The mirth of timbrels ceases, the noise of them that rejoice ends, the joy of the harp ceases.

And in every place where the staff of punishment shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with timbrels and harps: and in battles of brandishing will he fight with it.

Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: you shall again be adorned with your timbrels, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of flutists, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in you; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he may be, shall be found any more in you; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in you;

Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the clashing cymbals.

With trumpets and the sound of a horn make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.

Your pomp is brought down to the grave, and the sound of your harps: the maggot is spread under you, and the worms cover you.
