and in places there shall be great earthquakes, and famines, and pestilences; and there shall also be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in different places;

Desire the same thing one for another; desire not the high, but be satisfied with the humble. Be not wise in your own conceit.

AND know this, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you be not terrified, for all things must be accomplished; but the end is not yet.

but all these things are the beginning of sorrows.

And the first sounded; and there was hail and fire mingled with blood, and it was cast on the earth; and a third part of the earth was consumed, and a third part of the trees were consumed, and all the green grass was consumed.

for at that time there shall be great affliction, such as has not been from the beginning of the world even till now, nor ever shall be.
