Jehovah says: As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes and men say, 'Do not destroy it, there is yet some good in it,' so will I do in behalf of my servants; I will not destroy them all.

You will no longer devour your people or take the children away from your nation, proclaims the Lord Jehovah.

This is what the Lord Jehovah says: 'I have had enough of you, you princes of Israel.' 'Stop your violence and looting, and do what is fair and right. Stop evicting my people,' declares the Lord Jehovah.

Go up through her vineyards and destroy them. But do not execute a complete destruction. Strip away her branches, for they are not Jehovah's.

Jehovah says: The whole earth will be ruined, although I will not entirely destroy it.

Yet even in those days, says Jehovah, I will not make you a complete destruction.

There the angel of Jehovah appeared to him in a flame of fire coming from the middle of a bush. Moses saw that the bush was on fire but that it was not burning up.

This is strange, he thought. Why is the bush not burning up? I will go closer and see.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord Jehovah are upon the sinful kingdom! Yet, I will destroy it from off the face of the earth! I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, said Jehovah.

We are persecuted, yet not forsaken. We are struck down, yet not destroyed.

Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness. He is longsuffering (patient) toward you. He does not wish that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
