Thus therefore pray ye, Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.read more.

And if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven, give good things to them that ask him?

because he is his friend, yet, because of his importunity, he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes and said, Father, the hour is come: glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him. I have glorified thee on earth. I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, Father, glorify thou me with thyself, with the glory which I had with thee, before the world was. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also who will believe on me thro' their word: That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected in one; and that the world may know, that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that these also whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me; for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. Righteous Father, tho' the world hath not known thee, yet I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared to them thy name, and will declare it, that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.

Having therefore, brethren, free liberty to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us through the veil, that is, his flesh, And having an high-priest over the house of God;read more.
Let us draw near with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

By whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in him.

And it is still far more evident, because another priest is raised up, after the likeness of Melchidek, Who was made not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. For it is testified, Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melchisedek.read more.
For verily there is a disannulling of the preceding commandment, for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did, by which we draw nigh to God.
