Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Then he said to them, "Go, eat festive food and drink sweet drinks, and send a share to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our lord. Do not be grieved because the joy of Yahweh is your refuge."
You will make known to me [the] path of life. In your presence [is] fullness of joy. At your right hand [are] pleasures forever.
For [there is] a moment in his anger; [there is] a lifetime in his favor. Weeping lodges for the evening, but in the morning [comes] rejoicing.
In your name they rejoice all the day, and in your righteousness they rise up.

And the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring good news to you of great joy which will be for all the people:
I have spoken these [things] to you in order that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be made complete.
Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.
And now I am coming to you, and I am saying these [things] in the world so that they may have my joy completed in themselves.
For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
But know that Yahweh has set apart for himself [the] faithful one. Yahweh hears when I call to him.
Those who sow with tears shall reap with rejoicing. He who diligently goes [out] with weeping, carrying the seed bag, shall certainly come [in] with rejoicing, carrying his sheaves.
For to the person who [is] good in his eyes, he gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and heaping up only to give [it] to [him who is] pleasing to him. This also [is] vanity and chasing wind!
Look! My servants shall shout {for joy}, but you, you shall cry out {for pain} and howl {for sadness}.
And you shall see and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall {flourish} like the grass, and the hand of Yahweh shall make itself known {to} his servants, and he shall curse his enemies.
Truly, truly I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will become sorrowful, but your sorrow will change to joy. A woman, when she gives birth, experiences pain because her hour has come. But when [her] child is born, she no longer remembers the affliction, on account of the joy that a human being has been born into the world. So you also are experiencing sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy from you.read more.
And on that day you will ask me nothing. Truly, truly I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.
