Behold, as the eyes of slaves look unto the hand of their masters and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress, so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until he shall have mercy upon us.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manslave, nor his maidslave, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Thou shalt not desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field or his manslave or his maidslave, his ox or his ass or any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers transform themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works.

And he will take your menslaves and your maidslaves and your good young men and your asses and do his work with them.

but every man's slave that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat of it.

Thou shalt not do violence unto a hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he is of thy brethren or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates. In his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor and with it sustains his life, lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.

And when a man lies carnally with a woman that is a bondmaid, betrothed to a husband and has not been completely ransomed nor been given her freedom, both shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death because she is not free.

A prudent slave shall have rule over a son that causes shame and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.

He that troubles his own house shall inherit the wind, and the fool shall be slave to the wise of heart.

He that despises himself and becomes a slave is better than he that honours himself and lacks bread.

And it shall be, as with the people so with the priest; as with the slave so with his master; as with the maid so with her mistress; as with the buyer so with the seller; as with the lender so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury so with the giver of usury to him.

and even upon the slaves and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

and for certain on my slaves and on my handmaids I will pour out in those days of my Spirit, and they shall prophesy;

The son honours his father and the slave his master; if then I am a father, where is my honour? and if I am a master, where is my fear? said the LORD of the hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, In what have we despised thy name?

and when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his slaves to the husbandmen that they might receive the fruits of it.

And straightway he called them; and leaving their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, they went after him.

And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a slave that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.

His mother said unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? By his own master he stands or falls; and if he falls, he shall be made to stand, for God is powerful to make him stand.

And they spoke unto him, saying, If thou wilt be a slave unto this people this day and wilt serve them and answer them by speaking good words unto them, then they will be thy slaves for ever.

But it shall not be like this among you, for whosoever desires to make himself great among you shall be your servant;

But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

But ye shall not be so, but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is prince, as he that doth serve.

And again, whom should I serve? Should I not serve in the presence of his son? As I have served in thy father's presence, so will I be in thy presence.

Will he make a covenant with thee that thou shall take him for a slave for ever?
