Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For he is kind to the ungrateful and evil.

But those who are considered worthy to attain that age and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage, nor can they die any more, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.

For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel, nor are they all children of Abraham because they are his descendants; but, "Through Isaac shall your descendants be named." In other words, it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are reckoned as descendants.

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What harmony has Christ with Belial? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, "I will live in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.read more.
Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you. And I will be a father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."

So the law was our tutor to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all sons of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.read more.

And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does right is born of him.

See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God! And so we are! The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

No one who is of God practices sin, for God's seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. By this it may be seen who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not do right is not of God, nor he who does not love his brother.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the parent loves the child. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.

He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
