Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Even so Abraham "believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness." Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "In you will all the nations be blessed."read more.
So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the man of faith.
For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave and one by the free woman. But the son by the slave was born according to the flesh, and the son by the free woman through the promise. just as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are her children if you do what is right and are not frightened by any fear.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
So, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;

but Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. And we are his house, if we hold fast to our confidence and the hope of which we boast.

And he put all things under his feet and gave him to be the head over all things for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
For as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
