Be not deceived, God is not to be mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. He then, who soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he, that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for those that promote peace.

hearken, Behold a sower went out to sow: and in sowing, some fell by the way-side, and the birds came and ate it up: and some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth, and it sprang up immediately, because it had not depth of earth;read more.

Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the gospel-kingdom, and regardeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and snatcheth away that which was sown in his heart: this is he who received the seed as by the way-side. And he who received the seed as upon stony grounds, is one that heareth the word and immediately receiveth it with joy:read more.

Now this is the meaning of the parable, The seed is the word of God: and those by the way-side, are such as hear indeed; but then the devil cometh and taketh away the word from their hearts, least they should believe and be saved. And those on stony-ground are such as when they hear, receive the word with joy; but have no root, and so believe only for a while, and in the time of trial fall away.read more.
And that which fell among thorns, are those who when they have heard the word go away and are choked with the cares and riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to perfection. But that on the good ground, are those who having heard the word, retain it in a good and honest heart, and bring forth fruit with patience.

And let us not be weary in doing good: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

And he that planteth, and he that watereth, are as one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are fellow-laborers, the servants of God: and ye are the husbandry of God, ye are the building of God.

or saith not the law the same also? for it is written in the law of Moses, "Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn." Now doth God take care for oxen, or doth He say this indeed for our sakes? For it is certainly written for our sakes, that he, who ploweth, might plow in hope; and that he, who thresheth in hope, should partake of his hope. If we then have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great matter if we reap your carnal things?

But some will say, How are the dead raised, and with what body do they come? Silly creature! that which thou sowest, is not quickened, except it die first. and God giveth it a body as He pleaseth, and to every one of the seeds it's own body. All flesh is not the same kind of flesh: but there is one flesh of men, and another of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and terrestrial bodies: but there is one glory of the celestial, and another of the terrestrial. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: and one star differeth from another star in glory. So also will be the resurrection of the dead. Our body is sown in corruption, it is raised incorruptible: it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown an animal body, it is raised a spiritual body: for there is an animal body, and there is a spiritual body.

But this I say, He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully shall also reap bountifully. Let every one give as he chuses in his own heart; not with reluctance, or constraint: for God loveth a chearful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound towards you; that having always all sufficiency in every thing, ye may abound in every good work:read more.
