All Scripture is inspired by God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for discipline in righteousness;
knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture cometh from private interpretation. For prophecy never came by the will of man; but moved by the Holy Spirit, men spoke from God.
He saith to them, How then doth David in the Spirit call him lord? saying,

Wherefore I was offended with that generation, and said, They always err in their heart, but they knew not my ways; so I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest."
Moreover the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us of this. For after he had said, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days," the Lord saith, "I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them, and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more."

But we did not receive the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that have been given to us by the grace of God; which things we also speak, not in words taught by mans wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, connecting what is spiritual l with what is spiritual. But the unspiritual man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot know them; because they are spiritually discerned.read more.
But he that is spiritual judgeth of all things, yet he himself is judged by no one. For "who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

This only I desire to learn from you: Was it from the works of the Law that ye received the Spirit, or by the preaching of faith? Are ye so foolish? Having begun with the Spirit, do ye now end with the flesh? Have ye suffered so much in vain? if indeed it be really in vain.read more.
Doth he then who is supplying to you the Spirit, and working miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by the preaching of faith?
so that what is required by the Law might be accomplished in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Ye are entirely separated from Christ, who seek to obtain righteousness through the Law; ye have fallen away from grace. For we through the Spirit by faith steadfastly wait for the hope of righteousness.
