They answered him, "Why does my lord say such things? Far be it from your servants to do such a thing! Look, the money that we found in the mouths of our sacks we brought back to you from the land of Canaan. Why then would we steal silver or gold from your master's house? When the time appointed by the king arrived, the overseer of the court officials brought them into Nebuchadnezzar's presence. When the king spoke with them, he did not find among the entire group anyone like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, or Azariah. So they entered the king's service. In every matter of wisdom and insight the king asked them about, he found them to be ten times better than any of the magicians and astrologers that were in his entire empire.

The righteous person behaves in integrity; blessed are his children after him.

The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the unfaithful destroys them.

As for me, you uphold me because of my integrity; you allow me permanent access to your presence.

Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is perverse in his speech and is a fool.
