26 Bible Verses about Three Men

He looked up and noticed three men coming toward him. He ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed to the ground.

So the three broke through the camp of the Philistines, drew water from the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate. They took it to David. Nevertheless David would not drink it, but poured it out to Jehovah. He said: Far be it from me, O my God, that I should do this! Shall I drink the blood of these men who have placed their lives in jeopardy? For at the risk of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. The three mighty men did these things.

Of the three he was more honored than the other two men. Therefore he became their captain. However he did not attain to the first three.

Job's three friends heard about all the terrible things that happened to him. Each of them came from his home: Eliphaz of Teman, Bildad of Shuah, and Zophar of Naama. They agreed they would go together to sympathize with Job and comfort him.

So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

He was angry also with Job's three friends because they found no answer, though they had declared Job to be in the wrong.

When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouths of these three men, he became angry.

Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in that country, they would, by their righteousness, rescue only themselves,' declares the Lord Jehovah.

As I live, declares the Lord Jehovah, 'not even Noah, Daniel, and Job could rescue their own sons or daughters. They could rescue only themselves and the country would become a wasteland.'

The captain of the guard took the chief priest Seraiah, the second priest Zephaniah, and the three doorkeepers.
