Give not a holy thing to dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they tread them down with their feet, and turn and rend you.

knowing this first, that in the last days scoffers shall come with scoffing walking after their inordinate desires, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the world.

See then that what is said by the prophets does not come upon you; Behold, despisers, and wonder and perish, for I perform a work in your days, a work which you shall by no means believe even if one declares it to you.

FOR the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all impiety and wickedness of men who hold the truth in wickedness,

But the present heavens and the earth have been preserved by his word, being kept for fire, at the day of the judgment and destruction of wicked men.

And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?

For the grace of God that pertains to salvation appeared to all men, teaching us, that denying impiety and worldly desires we should live soberly, and righteously, and piously in the present life,

Dare any of you having a business with another be judged by the wicked, and not by the saints?

But profane and vain words, avoid; for they greatly increase impiety,

but avoid profane and silly myths; exercise yourself in piety;

O Timothy, keep the trust, turning away from profane and empty words, and contradictions of mis-named science, which some having professed have erred from the faith. The grace be with you.
