12 Bible Verses about Advice, Rejecting God's Advice

They soon forgot his works; they waited not for his counsel:

Because they rebelled against the words of God, and the counsel of the most High:

Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?

I know that you can do everything, and that no thought can be withheld from you. Who is he that hides counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered what I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And you will not come to me, that you might have life.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has also rejected you from being king.
