Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.

But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved. For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.

For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.

They say, "The LORD will not see, neither will Jacob's God consider."

Woe to those who deeply hide their counsel from the LORD, and whose works are in the dark, and who say, "Who sees us?" and "Who knows us?"

Why do you hide your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression?

Why hide you your face, and hold me for your enemy?

Do not hide your face from your servant, for I am in distress. Answer me speedily.

LORD, why do you reject my soul? Why do you hide your face from me?

For he looks to the ends of the earth, and sees under the whole sky.

She called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, "You are a God who sees," for she said, "Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?"

"For his eyes are on the ways of a man. He sees all his goings.

The LORD looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.

LORD, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

He binds the streams that they do not trickle. The thing that is hidden he brings forth to light.

For, behold, the LORD comes forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth also will disclose her blood, and will no longer cover her slain.

Therefore do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known.

But there is nothing covered up, that will not be revealed, nor hidden, that will not be known.

each man's work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man's work is.

and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel would not look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away.

But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spoke to the children of Israel that which he was commanded. The children of Israel saw Moses' face, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away. But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.

They do not know, neither do they consider: for he has shut their eyes, that they can't see; and their hearts, that they can't understand.

You will give them hardness of heart as your curse to them.

Now the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing;

being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts;

But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age has understood. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined the things which God has prepared for those who love him.read more.
But to us God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints,

For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, and neither has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him.

but now is revealed, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, is made known for obedience of faith to all the nations;

But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him

how that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words, by which, when you read, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ; which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;read more.
that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the Good News,

but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News.

in hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began; but in his own time revealed his word in the message with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;

Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. But you, Daniel, close up these words, and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall roam here and there, and knowledge shall increase."

He will destroy in this mountain the surface of the covering that covers all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations. He has swallowed up death forever. The Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for the LORD has spoken it.

For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

Beloved, now we are children of God, and it is not yet revealed what we will be. We know that, when he is revealed, we will be like him; for we will see him just as he is.
